The co-founder of Twitter, Evan Williams, recently apologized for twitter’s role in Donald Trump’s rise to the White House . . .
In an interview with the New York Times on Saturday, Williams said that he learnt recently that President Donald J. Trump (45th President of the United States) said that he believes Twitter helped him in his run to the White house.

In a statement, Williams said, inter alia:
“It’s a very bad thing, Twitter’s role in that. If it’s true that he wouldn’t be president if it weren’t for Twitter, then yeah, I’m sorry.”

The 45-year-old Silicon Valley and internet entrepreneur criticized the internet for rewarding extreme actions and behavior, calling it “broken.” Reports show that Williams said that he was wrong for thinking that the world would be a better place if there was a platform for everyone to freely speak and exchange ideas.
In commencement speech at the University of Nebraska this month, Williams said “some would say that’s what we deserve for giving the power of tweets to Donald Trump.”
Evan Clark Williams (born March 31, 1972) is an American computer programmer and Internet entrepreneur who founded several Internet companies. Williams was previously chairman and CEO of Twitter, one of the top ten websites on the Internet.

Evan Williams’ regrets for co-founding Twitter, which may have helped propel Donald Trump to the US Presidency. Bitter and regretful, it may seem to him, his apologies notwithstanding, it is of no consequence presently.
It is blatantly obvious that Donald Trump was heading to the White House, any way, despite fake polls, media backlash, conspiracies, acrimonious politicking from the left, American neo- and acute- liberalism, Washington establishment gang-up, machinations, and even the tasteless, ethically bankrupt, lewd and infamous 2005 Access Hollywood taped “grab them by the pussy” Trumpian talk could not even stop the Trumpian behemoth rolling down to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in downtown Washington DC.
I say always, Donald J. Trump, was made for television and showbiz, entertainment and razzmatazz — all these and more, on his presidential campaign trails and rally stops with huge Trumpian crowds and his Make America Great Again mantra. Despite the so-called social media, liberal Americans and liberal non-Americans, twitter notwithstanding! Trumpians were poised to elect Donald J. Trump to the White House, despite twitter . . .
