President Donald Trump posts doctored video of himself ‘beating up CNN’
US President Donald Trump has posted a doctored video of himself attacking a person with CNN’s logo superimposed over his face. Trump’s video shows the President (10 years ago) body slamming and punching a man near a wrestling ring . . .
This video (photo screengrab: above) was actually shot when Donald Trump was involved in entertainment, showbiz and reality television business. The footage stems from Trump’s appearance on WrestleMania 10 years ago.
President Donald Trump tweeted a mock video that shows him pummeling a man in a business suit — his face obscured by the CNN logo — outside a wrestling ring. It’s not clear who produced the brief wrestling video, but reports indicate that the video was posted from President Donald Trump’s official Twitter account.
Angered by attacks by the globalist media most recently (over the ‘Trump-Russia hacking’ debacle etc.), especially the liberal media, Trump has been stepping up verbal attacks on the media — and cable networks particularly. But an adviser was reported to have thought that “no one would perceive that as a threat. I hope they don’t” he thinks.
White House homeland security adviser Tom Bossert told ABC that he thinks Trump has been “beaten up in a way on cable platforms that he has a right to respond to.”
CNN responded to the ‘Trump-pummeling CNN’ video, with the following statement:
“It is a sad day when the President of the United States encourages violence against reporters. Clearly, Sarah Huckabee Sanders (Trump’s deputy press secretary) lied when she said the President had never done so.”
“The president in no way, form or fashion has ever promoted or encouraged violence,” Huckabee Sanders said during a press conference last week, adding: “If anything, quite the contrary.”
CNN responded further, below:
“Instead of preparing for his overseas trip, his first meeting with Vladimir Putin, dealing with North Korea and working on his health care bill, he is instead involved in juvenile behaviour far below the dignity of his office. We will keep doing our jobs. He should start doing his.”
Earlier, Trump defended his aggressive use of Twitter after a series of anti-media tweets. The President targeted CNN, NBC and a morning show host he taunted as “dumb as a rock”.
Trump said on Twitter:
“The FAKE & FRAUDULENT NEWS MEDIA is working hard to convince Republicans and others I should not use social media – but remember, I won the 2016 election with interviews, speeches and social media. I had to beat #FakeNews, and did. We will continue to WIN!”
Trump posted the above statement on Saturday, before ending the day at a rally in Washington that included a similar anti-media barrage – as usual.

In recent days, the US leader has railed against major news organisations and media networks as “fake news”, and launched an attack on Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough, who headline the Morning Joe program on the US left-leaning MSNBC cable network.
“Crazy Joe Scarborough and dumb as a rock Mika are not bad people, but their low rated show is dominated by their NBC bosses. Too bad!” he wrote yesterday, seemingly trying to get in the final word in his clash with the journalists.
“I am thinking about changing the name #FakeNews CNN to #FraudNewsCNN!”, Trump posted. “I am thinking about changing the name #FakeNews CNN to #FraudNewsCNN!”, Trump posted:
In one of his latest tweets defending his incessant tweets, the President justified his use of social media by tweeting:
My use of social media is not Presidential – it’s MODERN DAY PRESIDENTIAL. Make America Great Again!
